Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones UX to FX uses, and what choices you have about them. It is intended to be readable by humans, not just lawyers.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They serve a range of purposes — from keeping you logged in to tracking which pages are most popular. Some cookies are set by the site you're visiting; others are set by third-party services running on that site.
Cookies are broadly divided into two categories. Essential cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. Non-essential cookies — analytics, advertising, personalisation — are optional and require your consent before they are placed, particularly if you are visiting from the European Union or United Kingdom.
What Cookies Does UX to FX Use?
Essential Cookies
These are set by Framer, the platform that powers this site, and are required for basic site functionality such as page rendering, security, and session management. They do not track you across other websites and are not used for advertising purposes.

You cannot opt out of essential cookies without affecting how the site functions.
Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)
UX to FX uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This data helps inform content decisions — for example, understanding which articles are most useful and where readers tend to drop off.
Google Analytics collects information such as:
Pages visited and time spent on each
How you arrived at the site (search, direct, referral)
General location data (country/region level)
Browser and device type
Google Analytics does not collect your name, email address, or any information that directly identifies you as an individual. Data is aggregated and used for site improvement only.

Google Analytics cookies are only placed after you have given consent. If you decline, no analytics tracking occurs during your visit.
For more information on how Google handles this data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Your Choices
When you first visit UX to FX, you will be shown a cookie consent banner. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies at that point.
To change your preferences later: You can update your cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site, which will prompt the consent banner again.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites: Google offers a browser opt-out add-on that prevents your data from being sent to Google Analytics regardless of site-specific consent settings.
Browser-level controls: All major browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some websites.
Third-Party Links
UX to FX contains links to external sites, including affiliate links disclosed separately on our Affiliate Disclosures page. This Cookie Policy applies only to uxtofx.com. Third-party sites have their own cookie and privacy policies, which we have no control over.
Changes to This Policy
If the cookies used on this site change materially — for example, if new third-party services are added — this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect that. Continued use of the site after changes does not constitute consent to new non-essential cookies; those will be presented through the consent banner as applicable.

About Me

Krista Weber
After a career as a VP of UX and EdTech executive, I retired early—and quickly realized the traditional world of trading education is fundamentally broken.
As someone with a Master’s in HCI who specialized in the design of e-learning systems, I saw a massive gap: beginners aren't failing because trading is impossible; they’re failing due to massive cognitive overload and terrible instructional design.
This site bridges that gap. I’m applying the principles of learning science, systems thinking, and minimalist UX to strip away the market noise and teach trading the way it actually should be taught.
Say Thanks
Some of the pages on my travel blog contain affiliate links. Whenever you buy something through one of these links, I get a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an affiliate, I only recommend products and services that I feel are high quality and helpful to my readers. Thanks for your support.
